Immerse yourself in the breathtaking world of the Brazilian Pantanal — home to jaguars, giant otters, and hyacinth macaws — and experience a 12-day expedition filled with wildlife and nature photography. The highlight of this journey: a 4-day boat expedition into the heart of the Pantanal, far off the tourist trail and deep into the wilderness.
This trip is specially designed for photography enthusiasts who want to capture the diverse wildlife, vast river landscapes, and unique light of the Pantanal. Non-photographers and partners are of course equally welcome.
Vancouver Cherry Blossoms Photo Workshop

The cherry blossoms transform Vancouver every year into a short-lived sea of colors. In this 5-hour photo walk you will learn how to take creative and beautiful images.
We will spend the day experimenting with creative techniques such as double exposures, long exposures, intentional camera movement (ICM), and working with different perspectives, layering, and abstraction. This workshop is all about playing with new techniques and pushing the boundaries of your photography.
It’s designed for both beginners and experienced photographers.

Learn how to capture the magic of spring’s awakening and uncover the secrets behind its colours, scents, and sounds. Learn how to use your camera’s basic settings and compose balanced images to capture sharp, vibrant shots of wildlife and plants. Perfect for new nature photographers who want to build confidence and create beautiful spring images in a relaxed, inspiring atmosphere.

Fotokurs "Wasser und Wasservögel" in Göttingen

Kaum ein Motiv ist so vielseitig wie Wasser – als Hintergrund, Spiegelachse oder Hauptmotiv, ruhend oder in Bewegung. Daneben finden wir am Kiessee viele heimische Wasservögel, die uns als ergänzendes Tiermotiv finden. Zunächst besprechen wir die Grundlagen der Naturfotografie: die wichtigsten Kamera-Settings, Bildaufbau und Komposition, die besondere Perspektive, Vordergrund und Hintergrund, das natürliche Licht ideal nutzen, u.v.m. Dann werden wir kreativ und nehmen uns Zeit für Fototechniken wie:
- Langzeitbelichtungen
- ICM: Intentional Camera Movement
- Schwarz/weiß-Fotografie
- Mehrfachbelichtungen
- Gegenlichtfotografie
Der Kurs wird über den gemeinnützigen Verein Wälderwärts e.V. in Göttingen angeboten. Der Teilnahmebeitrag beträgt je nach Selbsteinschätzung zwischen 30 und 50 €. Hier geht es zur Anmeldung.
